The Analyzer App [1st: The dream has no physical setting]

There is no physical location. I am going through a process. It has a visual component, but it primarily has a logical and emotional result. I may be using an app, like on a smart phone, to analyze something else. I may be analyzing another app, something that is very good and has a lot of value, possibly for someone else I care for. Each time I run this program through the analyzer it comes out not looking very good. I just see some vague simple abstract shapes. They may be yellow, they may be moving around. When I see the analysis I am sad. It is as if I am taking something beautiful, analyzing it and making it less than.

I do this process at least twice. As I am waking up and going back and forth into the dream, I perform the process at least twice, and get the same results each time.  I have a hard time naming the dream and as I try and remember the main components, I am confused.  I get a brief flash of a whale and I am waking. Apparently if I put a whale through this process I would be get beautiful and meaningful results, but not the the item I am analyzing.

Notes: Perhaps the most confusing dream I have had. No idea what it is about or what it may mean. [1st] It may be the first time I have had a dream that takes place in a realm that is not physical. It is primarily mental with a dash of visual  80/20%. Very odd.

This was an afternoon nap.
