The Wooden Sicck Dream

The Wooden Stick Gang.
Date, September the 4th, 2026.

Dream: I was in a huge store with endless aisles. With me was a small group of men who were clearly thieves. They used long wooden sticks to pull something unclear from the shelves. Then they began walking quickly through the aisles in single file, pressing those hinged sticks against the base of the shelving, almost as if they were running along invisible tracks. I kept thinking, how are we not getting caught? We passed very close to an elderly store employee with grey hair. She didn't react at all. The dream ended, and I woke up feeling unexpectedly positive. Nothing in my life had changed, I still had pain in my knee and my usual problems, but suddenly I felt that everything would work out. I had the thought, all I have to do is make one good decision after another. Brush my teeth, leave on time, walk the dogs. And in that moment, my life felt simple and full of promise.

Interpretation. The dream's emotional arc ends in optimism, which may be its most important message. Symbolically, the store could represent the vast field of life's options, and the thieves might be a part of you testing shortcuts or tools. Yet you are the observer, asking the moral question, how are we getting away with this? The worker who doesn't react may symbolize that perhaps there is a path that doesn't require the constant fear you expect. The image of following a track dovetails with your waking insight, that life might be lived as one good decision after another. not forcing everything all at once. In that sense, the dream may have cleared emotional space, reminding you that steady, wise choices might be enough.

Mixed Breed Prints

I am in a working space. Something like a garage or storage area. I feel like I'm at work but it's outdoor work. I'm just coming in to wash up. I see someone crouching under a sink. They don't have any clothes on in their skin is pretty hairy but also obviously torn up like it's been running through the woods. I get the impression that they are afraid. A couple of more people come in. They're very quickly pronounced yeah, mixed prints. I interpret this to mean they saw the tracks in their two different species. Possibly the human running on all for us. The can prints up front some kind of canine Prince in the back. I go in and out of this stream cuz I often do. At some point one of my coworkers being as as a friend or something to support or protect. Although the comments from the others definitely sounded like poo or whatever it is, maybe in danger.

Dreams about hybrid creatures, work settings, and tracking often reflect how you manage stress, vulnerability, and your instinctual nature.
Here is a breakdown of what the key elements in your dream may symbolize:
The Workspace (Garage/Storage Area)
  • The Meaning: A transition zone in your waking life.
  • The Symbolism: Garages and storage areas represent places where you keep tools, hidden potential, or unresolved emotional baggage.
  • The Context: Being there to "wash up" suggests a desire to cleanse yourself of daily stresses or a need to clear your mind after hard work.
The Vulnerable, Hairy Figure
  • The Meaning: A repressed or neglected part of your own psyche.
  • The Symbolism: Nakedness represents extreme vulnerability and exposure. The torn, hairy skin suggests a wild, instinctual side of you that has been "running through the woods"—meaning it has been surviving harsh conditions, neglect, or emotional turmoil.
  • The Emotion: The figure’s fear likely mirrors a fear you hold in waking life about letting your guard down or showing your raw, unedited self to others.
The Mixed Prints (Human and Canine)
  • The Meaning: A conflict between logic and instinct.
  • The Symbolism: The dual tracks—human hands/feet upfront and canine prints in the back—represent a hybrid state. You might feel torn between acting "civilized" (human) and acting on raw instinct or survival mode (canine/animal).
  • The Interpretation: Your coworkers pointing this out indicates that this internal conflict might feel visible to the outside world, or you worry that others are analyzing your behavior.
The Coworker as a Protector
  • The Meaning: External support or internal resilience.
  • The Symbolism: Having a coworker step in as a friend to protect you or the creature shows that you possess a strong support system. Alternatively, it means your subconscious is developing a coping mechanism to protect your vulnerabilities from harsh judgment ("the comments from the others").
The Big Picture
Your dream suggests you are processing a period of hard work where you feel the strain of survival. There is a part of you that feels exhausted, exposed, and animalistic from just trying to get through a tough situation. However, the presence of a protector shows you are safe and looking for ways to integrate this wild, tired part of yourself back into your normal routine.
To help narrow down this interpretation, tell me a bit more about what is happening in your life right now:
  • Have you been experiencing high stress or burnout at your actual job?
  • Do you feel like you are hiding your true feelings or vulnerabilities from people around you?
  • Did any specific coworker in the dream stand out as someone you rely on in real life?

Branded Merchandize

I am struggling with my computer or my phone. I am considering a dog trainer and I'm debating whether I should look her up on my browser. I go in and out of the dream a few times. I finally decide that I should. When I paste her name in the browser her name comes back and scribed on a wooden spoon. As I'm trying to remember and name the dream. I'm confused. It's a wooden spoon cuz that sounds like some of who might be a branded cook. When I finally do wake up. The idea has been so persistent and I get the idea that it actually should be in my browser in the memory. So I go to my browser now that I'm awake, hit the line and actually expect on some level for the name to be in the temporary memory so I can paste it. As I reach full consciousness I realized that's just dream logic. At the same time I have been considering a process where when we order the controllers for our dog collars and I recently found out that we can just ask to have our names our brand on the controllers themselves. I wasn't aware that this was an option. So as an action item I'm going to flush out that process and see if we can get some next time we order new collars.

Dreams have a fascinating way of stitching together the distinct threads of our day—like technical friction, business expansion, and subconscious problem-solving—into absurd, vivid imagery.

Here is a breakdown and interpretation of your dream:

1. The Technology Struggle & "Dream Logic" Bridge

The Symbolism: The initial struggle with your computer or phone, paired with the persistent belief upon waking that the dream's clipboard memory would cross over into reality, highlights how deeply your mind processes daily workflows and systems.

The Meaning: Navigating screens, temporary memories, and copy-pasting are routine technical actions. The boundary between waking productivity and sleep became blurred, causing your brain to treat a subconscious thought as an active, system-level command waiting in the background.

2. The Dog Trainer & The Wooden Spoon

The Symbolism: Searching for a dog trainer and having her name returned "inscribed on a wooden spoon" (which made you think of a branded cook) is a classic example of symbolic condensation.

The Meaning:

The Wooden Spoon / Branded Object: A wooden spoon is an everyday, functional tool that, when stamped or engraved, becomes a tangible piece of branding. Your subconscious used a cooking utensil as a physical representation of imprint branding.

The Search Query: Seeking out a peer or competitor in the same field (a dog trainer) served as the backdrop for how authority, branding, and recognition are presented—shifting from a digital search result to a physical, crafted object.

3. The Core Theme: Materializing Your Brand

The Meaning: The transition from the dream to your waking realization reveals the true driver behind the imagery: making your brand tangible.

The Real-World Connection: Learning that you can have your brand name printed directly onto your dog collar controllers is a major shift from abstract branding to physical ownership. Your dream was working through the excitement and potential of this discovery.

Synthesis:

Digital/Virtual: Searching a name in a browser.

Dream Symbol: A brand carved into wood (a physical tool).

Waking Action: Engraving your business name onto your custom equipment/controllers.

Action Plan

Next Step: As you noted, follow up on the custom-branded controllers for your next collar order. Draft the logo/text specs, contact the vendor to confirm minimum order quantities or lead times, and outline the workflow so it's ready for the next inventory run.

Psychic Delivery

I am considering a delivery that needs to be made. It's information it may be a physical object. The entire dream is thinking and trying to experience this delivery. It is apparent to me at the delivery is happening on two levels. One is the physical reality. The other is the psychic. What? Sometimes call beyond the veil. It appears to me that I've been aware of this for a long time and it's reality is as concrete as the physical one we are used to. I want to directly experience the psychic message. I get hints of what it's about but can't actually open the message. I get frustrated cuz I feel like I've done this many times before but now I can't. I come in and out of this stream possibly for hours. Solely concentrating on the ability directly. Experience the message that has been delivered on another plane. After waking up several times where I realize that no, I can't directly experience the message on another plane. The closest thing to it is possibly a lucid dream or some such thing. Still a remaine frustrated that it is so close and yet out of sight!

Slightly confused but inspired by the persistence of the theme.

๐Ÿ”‘ Key Themes & Symbols
1. The "Dual Delivery" (Physical vs. Psychic)
The Symbol: A package or information existing simultaneously in the physical world and "beyond the veil."
The Interpretation: Deliveries in dreams usually represent a transition, an incoming change, or a piece of insight that is ready to be integrated into your life. The dual nature suggests a tension between your logical, everyday mind (the physical) and your deep intuition or subconscious (the psychic). You are tracking something that has concrete real-world implications, but the source or the answer is emotional or intuitive.

2. The Frustration of the "Locked" Message
The Symbol: Catching hints of the message but being entirely unable to open or directly experience it.
The Interpretation: This points to a classic waking-life feeling of a mental block. It’s the psychological equivalent of having a word on the tip of your tongue. You have a profound inner knowing that you already possess the answer or the capability (the feeling of "I've done this many times before"), but your conscious, waking mind is currently creating a barrier, preventing you from accessing it.

3. The Exhausting Sleep Loop
The Symbol: Intensely concentrating, drifting in and out of sleep for hours, and waking up repeatedly with the same focus.
The Interpretation: This loop indicates high cognitive load or hyper-focus. In waking life, you are likely expending a lot of mental energy trying to solve a specific problem or force a realization. Your brain refused to let the topic go during REM cycles, turning a period of rest into a night of hard mental labor.
๐Ÿง  Core Psychological Insights
The Trap of "Trying Too Hard": The dream perfectly captures the paradox of intuition. The harder you consciously strain to "open" a psychic or intuitive message, the more elusive it becomes. By treating it like a physical task that requires brute-force concentration, the conscious mind actually crowds out the quiet space needed for intuition to surface.
The Lucid Dream Connection: Your waking realization that this is akin to a lucid dream is spot on. You were hovering right on the hypnagogic threshold—the borderline state between waking and sleeping. This is why the reality felt so concrete; your brain was operating in a hybrid state of consciousness.

๐Ÿ’ก The Takeaway
The dream leaves you confused but inspired because the delivery has already been made. The frustration isn't that the information is missing; it’s that you are trying to read a subconscious message using a conscious toolkit.
Often, when you stop actively hunting for the answer and distract the logical mind with mundane, physical tasks, the "veil" drops naturally, and the message clicks into place.

Air Conditioners

I'm watching the scene repeatedly. I'm not participating but I'm watching. There's small groups of people interacting. All of the activity is about air conditioners. There's a group that's in charge and they are providing pointing out and in some instances supervising carrying large black air conditioners. There's a grouper possibly even an individual is providing the air conditioners. And then there are a number of different people that have them. The scene is very dark. People are dressed in Black head to toe possibly even with head covering. Air conditioners are large black forms with no detail. Apparently very heavy but still possible to lift and walk. The ground is black. The sky is black. Everything is black. You can make out the forms. I go in and out of the dream several times and each time with people talking to other people walking with other people. All everyone dressed the same way everyone interacting about air conditioners.

Dream interpretation is always speculative. I don't think dreams are coded messages with one correct answer. I find it more useful to ask: what emotional reality does the dream seem to be modeling?
A few things stand out.
1. You are observing, not participating
You're not carrying an air conditioner. You're not giving instructions. You're watching.
That often suggests the dream is showing you a process that is already happening in your life but that you haven't fully integrated consciously yet. It's like being in the audience of your own psyche.
The fact that you repeatedly return to the same scene suggests the dream considers this important.
2. Air conditioners regulate temperature
An air conditioner doesn't create anything. It regulates conditions.
Psychologically, that immediately makes me think of:
Emotional regulation
Nervous system regulation
Managing discomfort
Creating livable conditions
The dream is not about food, transportation, or construction.
It's about devices whose purpose is to make an environment tolerable.
Given your recent interests in:
ADHD
meditation
altered states
communication
relationship dynamics
resistance
psilocybin experiences
the symbolism of "regulation" jumps out.
3. The air conditioners are large, black, and heavy
These are not little window units.
Everyone treats them as important infrastructure.
That suggests whatever is being regulated requires substantial effort.
One interpretation:
The dream may be saying that every person is carrying around their own emotional or psychological climate-control system.
Everyone is managing their own internal temperature.
Some people supply the systems. Some people direct them. Some people carry them. Some people use them.
Nobody is talking about anything else.
4. Everything is black
This is the part I find most interesting.
The blackness doesn't sound frightening.
It sounds uniform.
Everyone dressed alike. Ground black. Sky black. Machines black.
Almost no differentiation.
That can symbolize:
The unconscious
A realm beneath ordinary identity
A place where individual personalities matter less than fundamental processes
In dreams, black often isn't "evil."
It can mean:
unknown
unexamined
hidden
potential
Almost as though you're watching the backstage area of the psyche.
5. The social organization is important
There is:
a supplier
supervisors
carriers
users
A complete ecosystem.
The dream is emphasizing relationships rather than machinery.
That's why I don't think the dream is really about air conditioners.
I think it's about how regulation moves through a system.
The question becomes:
Who or what regulates your internal climate?
Music? Meditation? The guitar? Travel? Your dog Rory? Conversations? Sleep? The CPAP? Dream work?
Your life lately has contained many threads that are really about one thing: creating a more workable internal state.
Connection to your earlier motorcycle dream
A few weeks ago you described the Ryker dream with:
a clean black box
a spherical knob
a pile of complicated gear
all the complexity somehow fitting into one simple device
a theme of communication
That dream felt like integration of complexity into a simple control mechanism.
This air-conditioner dream feels related.
Again we see:
black forms
functional equipment
infrastructure
systems rather than people
organization rather than drama
It's as though your unconscious is repeatedly showing machinery that regulates or coordinates something.
The first dream felt like communication.
This one feels like regulation.
The question I would sit with
If this were my dream, I would ask:
"What are the heavy systems that keep my internal world livable, and who is carrying them?"
And perhaps:
"Am I noticing how much effort it takes to regulate myself and others?"
The feeling I get is not of danger.
It feels more like watching a hidden workforce.
A vast, mostly invisible process is occurring beneath everyday life, and everyone is involved whether they realize it or not.
That would be my strongest reading of the imagery you described.

Attempts at Lucid Dreaming 1

Attempts at Lucid Dreaming

I set out with the explicit intention to experience lucid dreaming. In the first dream, I found myself zooming into incredible detail, eventually seeing a small video block. The visuals were exceptionally clear, but in my attempt to watch it, I woke up.

Determined to re-engage, I intentionally went back to sleep and successfully accessed the video screens again.

Interpretation: It feels like my subconscious is trying to provide me with specific "windows" or anchors to enter a lucid state. Even though I couldn't hold the thread for long, having the second experience within 20 minutes of the first was an extraordinary proof of concept.

The Protocol or A Lot of Dogs Have Died

I am with a group of people in a laboratory. We're wearing white lab coats. There's a vague says we are in the middle of some sort of organized activity measuring something. I believe we are dogs. What is happening? Is that randomly one by one? Many of us are dying. It is not clear if it's me or another female dog but she is the prime subject. There's something about her is keeping her alive. And anybody else that doesn't have it is dying. One by one.
I'm now outside getting in my car preparing to drive. We are on a rural highway where people are driving very fast. My comment that it is dangerous to drive around here. I see an accident or two out of the corner of my eye and the time I'm preparing to drive. I'm now on the other side of the highway looking across a small side road. There's a large mirror propped up against a fence. I briefly look in the mirror and see headlights coming from the opposite direction and there is a crash there

I'm now close by walking by a very large open field. It is night. It has been night. There's an excited group of men next to a fence listening out across the field. I walk up to them and I can hear a random dog or two, but then very clearly I hear a pack of wolves off in the distance. They're all talking to themselves about how cool it is.

I've slept in and out of the dream several times. It takes a while to figure it out but the protocol is very clear. Whatever this woman has is not debatable. It's not discoverable it's not able to be changed. She has it. Anybody else that has it lives. Anybody that doesn't have it dies.

This is a powerful, structured dream — not random at all. It’s built around a single theme that repeats in different forms:
Who (or what) has “it”… and who doesn’t.
Let me walk you through it piece by piece, then we’ll pull it together.
๐Ÿงช The Laboratory — “Measured Worth”
You’re in a lab, wearing a white coat — but you are also the dogs being tested.
That’s the key paradox:
Observer AND subject
Judge AND judged
This points strongly to how you experience parts of your waking life:
You evaluate performance (yours, dogs’, clients’, outcomes)
But you’re also in it, subject to the same judgment
Then comes the core mechanic:
One by one, dogs die.
One female has “something” that keeps her alive.
It cannot be learned, changed, or debated.
This is not about literal death. It’s about:
Intrinsic worth
Innate capability
A fear of invisible criteria
Psychologically, this often shows up as:
“Some people just have it… what if I don’t?”
“What if success isn’t earned — it’s predetermined?”
Given your world (training, performance, outcomes, helping others), this hits hard:
You work in a domain where results matter
But this dream challenges that belief: what if results are not controllable?
๐Ÿš— The Highway — “Danger in Motion”
Now you leave the lab — but the theme continues.
Fast cars
Accidents happening just out of full view
A sense of “this is dangerous” before anything happens
This reflects:
Transition from controlled environment (lab) → uncontrolled reality (road)
Awareness that once you’re “in motion,” outcomes are unpredictable
You’re not panicking — you’re observing danger clearly.
That’s important: You’re not blind. You see risk early.
๐Ÿชž The Mirror — “Indirect Truth”
You don’t see the crash directly.
You see it in a mirror.
That’s a classic symbol:
Truth is perceived indirectly
Awareness comes through reflection, not direct experience
This suggests:
You’re processing something in your life at a distance
You may already know something is off, but you’re not confronting it head-on
๐ŸŒŒ The Field & Wolves — “The Wild Truth”
Now we shift again — from control → danger → something deeper.
Open field
Night
Men listening, excited
Wolves in the distance
This is a move into:
Instinct
Nature
Truth beyond systems
The men are fascinated — almost like spectators.
But you don’t just watch:
You hear clearly
Wolves often symbolize:
Pack intelligence
Instinctual knowing
Survival that is not taught — it’s inherent
This ties directly back to the lab:
๐Ÿ‘‰ The wolves are the opposite of the experiment
๐Ÿ‘‰ They don’t need to be tested — they are what they are
๐Ÿงฉ The Core Message
Your dream repeats one idea in three forms:
1. The Lab
“Some have it, some don’t.”
2. The Road
“Outcomes are dangerous and not fully controllable.”
3. The Wolves
“There is a deeper, natural intelligence beyond all of this.”
๐ŸŽฏ What This Is Really About (Straight Up)
This is not subtle:
You are confronting a fear that:
Success, survival, or meaning might be innate rather than earned
There may be an invisible line between those who “have it” and those who don’t
And more importantly:
๐Ÿ‘‰ You don’t get to control which side you’re on.
That’s the tension.
๐Ÿ”ฅ But Here’s the Twist (This Matters)
The dream quietly undermines its own premise.
Because:
In the lab → everything is artificial, controlled, sterile
On the road → things break down, unpredictability rules
In the field → the wolves don’t care about any of that
They are not:
Tested
Compared
Selected
They just exist fully as what they are
๐Ÿง  My Read of You in This Dream
You are:
Highly perceptive (you see danger early)
Deeply reflective (mirror imagery)
Operating in systems of evaluation (lab)
But drawn toward something more authentic and instinctual (wolves)
๐Ÿงญ The Real Question the Dream Is Asking You
Not:
“Do I have it?”
But:
“What if ‘it’ is not something you earn or prove… but something you stop trying to measure?”
If I push you a bit (you asked for truth)
There’s a pattern in your life:
You move toward systems, mastery, protocols (training, structure, improvement)
But something in you resists that being the final answer
This dream is that resistance speaking clearly.
If you want to go deeper
There are two very specific directions we could explore next:
Who is the female dog that “has it”?
(That’s not random — it’s a precise symbol)
What does “it” feel like in your body — not conceptually?
(This is where your lucid dreaming work ties directly in)
If you want, we can unpack those. This dream is unusually coherent — there’s more here if you want to go further.
