Biohazard Sales Call Morphs Into Real World Wisdom
I am with two other technical sales team members, both males, on a sales call. I know my team and have met the client in the past. We are in the city and when we come to the site it is down the bottom of an old beautifully architecturally designed hole. It is very large (most of a block), tiered in to a narrow square bottom and laced with plants and water. I comment on how all the infrastructure of he city is still below the facility and what a great idea it is.
The client outlines his need. It is about creating a system to tract information as items are dynamically being manufactured. We get a rough idea of the problem and take a break in a small room for our team to put together an initial solution. When the client returns one of my technical sales reps support guys begins explaining our tech. The description is dry, monotonous and boring. We go for a break.
We leave the facilities and on our way back the others are slow an aimless when it is time to cross the street. I yell at them to hurry. There is an additional technical team member that I recognize that come back with them. I find this curious.
Back int he facility the client gives us a practical test. I am handed a test tube frilled with blood to analyze. As I am carrying it down long drab dirty office hallways the tube leaks and blood is dripping into my hands. I am concerned that the sample will be lost and I will fail the test. I see drops of blood at various locations in the crowded offices in the hallways. I also wonder if this is just a test. With each iteration I get more focused and more professionally responding to the emergency.
I go from panicked reactionary to focused professional. Ultimately I refuse to accept the sample and call for help to assist the woman trying to hand it to me. I call for her to get face protection as well.

I wale fully, use the bathroom and return to the dream. I start using some of my developing dream interpretation skills I am learning in Robert Moss's class. I start to imagine how it could have been. Just because the building is old, doesn't mean there can be modem clean glass enclosed spaces with proper levels of safety protocols to support the work.
I then begin to think about what the dream wants and applying it to my waking life. I think about the task of putting a digital piano into the old upright in the Inn. I am not thinking as much as listening. I imagine a better approach and again run through the scenario several times. I end up with several very practical approaches. I even reject some possibilities as not the best approach, even it I am taking more than one simultaneously.
1. Get cash with max I am willing to pay.
2. Talk to Bob and Natalie about who they know in NYC that could help.
3. Talk specifically with Natalie about the Roland FP-30
4. Talk with Paul. Watch Raleigh Craig's list and be prepared to overnight cast to NYC or Raleigh.
Notes: The original series of dreams likely too 30+ minutes. When I woke and went back to bed, it took about 15 minutes before finally waking/getting out of bed to record the dream. I was feeling pretty good about my efforts in dreaming and my waking life. Also feeling good about my initial results with the trigger point message ball...it may get me walking and exercising again!!
