Stealing The World's Greatest Work of Art

I am watching the stealing of the world's greatest work of art. It is a stature and there are workers with digging tools removing dirt from the foundation. It is a deconstruction project. I am viewing or experiencing the project from below.

Each time I return to sleep I am back int he same dream space and the efforts are further along. More destabilizing with increasing uncertainty of the projects actual end.

There is an increasing feeling of uncertainty about the endeavor. The eating away at its foundations has eaten away at the beliefs that the work represented. There is also an increasing feeling of instability and inability to resurrect it properly in a new location.

I wake feeling the emotional darkness of the project, but still amazed that I am three days running of long dream continuity sessions.

Prisoners (c 1519-34)

Michelangelo's Prisoners, or Slaves, were begun for the tomb of Pope Julius II but never finished. In its entirety – including the Dying and Rebellious Slaves in the Louvre and the statue of Moses on the final, reduced version of the tomb eventually erected in Rome – this constitutes the greatest unfinished masterpiece in the world. Yet Michelangelo did not leave things unfinished out of laziness. It is an aesthetic choice. The tragic power of these prisoners as they struggle to emerge out of raw stone is an expression of the human condition that equals Shakespeare's Hamlet. –

Notes: Contiguous dreams three days running. I looked up "the world's greatest work of art" and found this Michelangelo sculpture. It was only on one list, David and The Pietà were much more common. But, I found this one first.

What does the dream want? For me to travel the world in search of great art? Likely not. A warning about the destabilizing effects of destroying society's foundations? A cautionary tale of cheating or stealing?

Girl in a gay  night club

I am with a group of men, likely all gay. We go to a huge dark, labyrinthine, abandoned  industrial site repurposed without renovation onto a massive hook-up site. We are know by the proprietor and he come over. He talks with us, but I can not hear a word. Everyone is hooked up and I am faced with and expectant little guy who was obviously expecting to get serviced and proceeded to lie down, take out his erect penis and say, we have all night.  I start to jack him off.

I am now laying down against a wall with my arm around a very pretty you woman. She is not interested in me but I persist. Our location changes and we are in an overstuffed, chair her facing me with her legs wrapped around me. She is still not fully engaged but is letting me fondle and suck her breasts. Two guys come up and start taking to us.

One, who is particularly ugly and aggressive states that she is basically hogging an available guy and is pissed. My response is to go theatrically completely bazerk  and smash a tray filled with nails hanging from the ceiling. That splatter around the space. His response is to start angrily screaming. He grabs a light fixture handing from exposed wires and pulls it down. Sparks fly and there is instantly fire breaking out everywhere. We immediately  exit the building seeing hundreds pouring out from multiple doors into the urban city night.

Notes: Very vivid. The scene with the girl was erotic, very interactive and viscerally sexual.

What does the dream want? To demonstrate the state of my current sexual orientation and opportunities.

Busiest Office Worker

I am in an office setting with Debbie. She just finished one task, closed the door and exactly as the door closed the phone rnag. I comment how amazingly, constantly busy she is.

Most Efficient Office Staff

I am talking with someone in the office about how incredibly efficient the office staff is. They work as a team and get so much done. They do twice the work as others would and have fun.

Tree Frog Kitten

I am watching the antics of a kitten. The scene is cartoon like The kitten is in a line of kittens circling around the room. The energetic one casually gets out of the line by walking up the wall a couple of feet and then butting into the line a few cats up.

Pissing in the Freezer

I am back in the office and helping to clean up. I piss in the freezer and then proceed to clean it up. In the end the freezer and everything else in the kitchen is very clean.

Multiple Awards/Gifts for Debbie

I am with someone, maybe the boss. They are preparring several items that are going to be presented to debbie for all of her good work. The is one large one, may be a special rock. It is wrapped and is put aside to give to her later.

Bump and Grind with the Black Secretary

I am working with Debbie's secretary. She is young, beautiful, black and very into me. She is touching me and pushing her chest into mine. We are talking about getting together is other circumstances because Debbie could walk in any moment and it would hurt her feelings. I can feel the bump of the secretary's vigina on my croch.

Notes: Have not have weed for a few days. I was able to remember and go back into the dreams even after moving slightly. This is the second dream where I can feel a woman's genitals pressing against me.

What does the Dream want? For me to work hard, with others.

Elvis in Carrboro

Elvis in Carrboro  (Choline 500mg, Galantamine 8mg)

I am with Cindy at some roadside event. I need to retrieve Alex, we are not far from home. I begin the walk and immediately have difficulty. I find myself on a street I do not recognize. I call Cindy (or ask out loud) do we have an eBay street? The dream is very vivid and detailed. I walk thru a line of bushes with gaps just big enough for a person.

I am returning in Cindy's car with Alex, but the going it rough. At some point I get to the bushes that a car won't fit through. I run into a cart full of things from a rummage sale. Somehow an electrical appliance comes on in some way connected to the car (maybe thru the windshield) The car turns over or nearly so.

I look up and the sky is amazing and beautiful. I say out loud, it look like a petri dish. I turn to tell Alex and when I look back ti has changed. As I look at it is changing rapidly. There are many shapes migrating rapidly across the sky and changing in shape and color.

There are several people milling around and I ask loudly for help. A man responds and then is briefly out of sight. I panic but he appears and come to the car. We know each other from past encounters, but we can't remember each other's names. He pronounces his and gives a phonetic reminder on how to pronounce it (Solevey?) He looks me straight in the eyes just inches away. Do we know each other from the ManKind Project, The Y? Yes, he says and Elvis too. I think to myself, must have been the Elvis parade in Carrboro.  I wake. Amazed yet frustrated I did not go lucid.

Notes: I had a pre-lucid dream the night before actually saying in the dream, "Am I dreaming.?" I believe part of me is screaming "wake up" in my dream. Maybe in my waking life as well.

What does the dream want? For me to wake up in my dreams and in my life. Wow.

How do I respond? First by adding this prompt to my dream journal. I Googled "how to listen to that small voice in your head." Meditation. Plus attention to detail. Plus, ask, be quiet, listen, and then follow the advice.  Commitment to action (Followed up in Burton 5.0) meditate 30 minutes a day from now on.

Un-stealing with Guns

I am part of a group of people all being coordinated for a large effort aimed at putting something back that was stolen. I am mostly an observer. A large vehicle is filled with several people capsizes and people spill out, unhert, but very ineffectual. 

I have a series of dreams falling in and out of this location. Repeated incompetencies with guns and poorly planned activities. 

Notes: Don't remember dreaming about guns before. Spent a lot of time on line looking at them. Discovered 6.8 SPC rounds. I want an AR chambered in 6.8. I should be a pistol/handgun first and get competent with it.

What does the dream want: For me to progress slowly (or not at all) on any gun purchase.

Individual Protection Segment

I am in a large public facility that is a combination of a transportation hub and a hotel. I am processing myself and my luggage.

I am putting myself through a machine process that creates an ultimate protective unit. I am being converted into a solid box of thick wooden slats banded with a massive (4" thick) cast iron frame. The boards bulge in the middle as I am  converted into wood. The finished product  feels very safe, but very permanent. The result is a 3ft x 3ft x 6in solid piece of wood. As it comes out of the machine, it bulges up to a foot thick as my body is processed into the form.

Personal Belongings Segment

I am now standing in front of another  large machine that is designed to pack your bags. There is a large mechanical mechanism that starts with a massive lock.  I discover that it does not have a unique key, buy only a very heavy and unique way to turn the machine on. It takes everything in my compact bag and processes it into organized compartments.

I am helping an attractive woman with the machine, but her possessions are very numerous, poorly organized and not in one bag. She is working on getting them all stuffed into one bag.

We are watching the results from another younger woman whose very numerous possessions are being processed but are overwhelming the machine and becoming disorganized.

Notes: I awoke very happy that I could remember and name the dream elements. I went over the names numerous times before opening my eyes.

What does the dream wnat? Take it to the dream group. I feel like it is related to my struggling getting my shit together (income, intimacy, health).

Dream Life

Just changed the name of this blog from Carrboro Dreamers to "Dream Life." This change reflects my realizations on the interdependence of dreams and what we call real life or objective reality. I have expressed it logically as Dreams ≡ Life. (x ≡ y means x is defined to be another name for y)
I like to think of  ≡ as Super Equal.

The change of name also reflects that I will be journaling brief  life events in this blog as well. I hope to reserve the domain name,, DreamLife.net and use it going forward as a foundation for my dream work.
