Key to [Bracketed] Abbreviations

These are short cuts for Dream Signs, Recurring Themes, and various dream notes. They also serve as reminders and a way to search back through old dreams.


Elements Common to Many Dreams

[PL] Pre-Lucid.  Some element of self awareness and/or decision making in the dream.

[L] Fully lucid. Complete with reality checks and often dream action manipulation.

[VL] Very Lucid. Extremely vivid, defying gravity, extended period of time with many decisions.

[HD] Hyper Detail. Usually very bright, vivid and detailed.

[HS] Hyper Sensitivity. I can feel very detailed sensations such as touch, hearing, taste?, pain?

[DH] Dream Hack. Something I learn in a dream that make me a better dreamer.

[LH] Life Hack. Something in a dream that makes my waking life better.

[EXT] Extended. A long complex dream. Often going back and forth into the dream in the morning.

[RT: theme] Recurring Theme: The Theme  Exp: [RT: Failure]
  • Big Setting : Set on a college campus, large business, recreational or military facility/structure.
  • Failure: I have been having this theme in many varieties starting in the summer of 2016
  • Employment/Business/Office  Working, Business Environment, Looking for work.
  • Fidelity: Cognizant of my wife in several dicey situations.
  • Abstract: or non-specific setting. No physical location, possibly just logical processing.
  • Looping: Dream scenes repeat at least twice with slight variations. 
[Rating] Standard movie ratings. Started doing this as dreams became more explicit.

Dream Signs: How do I know if I'm Dreaming?

[PUR] Pursuit. Constant movement, being chased, pursuing something, going through multiple doors/rooms/chambers. (Or is this a Recurring Theme? Both?)

[DL] Dream Logic. Some convoluted logic/goal that an essential to the dream plot but seems impossible or non-sensible as I am waking up.

[SC] Scene Change. Scene change with no transition. Sure sign I'm dreaming.  It happens so often, I quick making a note of it.

[FS] Familiar Setting. Dream locations that I return to. Do a reality check and realize I am dreaming.

[LH] Life Hack. Something in a dream that makes my waking life better.
  Vitality, Fell the vitality in my food as I eat. If I do not fell it, don't eat it.


Dream Induction Techniques I Have Used

[WBTB] Wake Back To Bed.  Sleep for 3 plus hours.. Wake up for 5 plus minutes. Back to sleep.

[WILD] Wake Induced Lucid Dream. Go directly from wakefulness into a lucid dream.

[FILD] Finger Induced Lucid Dream Wake up still tired, go back into dream by tapping fingers.

[SSILD] Senses Induced Lucid Dreaming. Cycle thru sight, sound and touch after 5 hours of sleep.



Dream Supplements I Have Used 
(Nootropics, Herbs, etc.)

Licidimine: Galantamine Lucid Dream Induction & Super Nootropic Supplement. 
Most effective for me so far.

DreamLeaf:   Advanced Lucid Dreaming Supplement (Red & Blue). For me, it enhances dreams recall and vividness but hasn't kick me into lucidity. 

Mugwort:  Dried herb. Ingest in capsules, smoke or make tea.

Calea: Dried Herb. Dried herb. Ingest in capsules, smoke or make tea.

Vervain: Dried herb. Verbena officinalis - Native to Europe. Also known as Verbena, Herba Sacre, herba veneris, herb of the cross. Brewed approximately 1 tbsp as hot tea nasty). Had amazing partially lucid dreams.

Choline: 500mg tablets from Nature's Way. Used in combination with Galatamine as part of a study. Worked!.

Galatamine: 4mg tablets from Relentless Improvement. Used in conjunction with Choline.
